Sonic Window™ Technology
The low cost and compact design of the Sonic Window™ are enabled by the combination of a novel low-cost beamforming strategy, a highly integrated front-end architecture, and a low-cost 2D array. The Sonic Window™ is protected by a strong portfolio of issued and pending patents covering the user interface and system configuration, high-level hardware implementations, and core image formation algorithms. PocketSonics™ has solved a myriad of technical hurdles previously preventing ultrasound miniaturization, integration, and cost-reduction of this magnitude.
